3 Und der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559 zu seinen Knechten5650: Wisset ihr3045 nicht2814, daß Ramoth7433 in Gilead1568 unser ist3947; und wir sitzen stille und nehmen sie nicht von der Hand3027 des Königs4428 zu Syrien758?

3 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to his servants,5650 Know3045 you that Ramoth7216 in Gilead1568 is ours, and we be still, and take3947 it not out of the hand3027 of the king4428 of Syria?758

4 Und3092 sprach559 zu Josaphat: Willst du mit mir ziehen3212 in den Streit4421 gen Ramoth in Gilead1568? Josaphat sprach559 zum Könige4428 Israels3478: Ich will sein wie3644 du und3092 mein Volk5971 wie dein Volk5971 und meine Rosse5483 wie deine Rosse5483.

6 Da sammelte6908 der König4428 Israels3478 Propheten5030 bei vierhundert702 Mann376 und6908 sprach559 zu ihnen: Soll ich gen Ramoth in Gilead1568 ziehen3212 zu streiten4421, oder soll ich‘s lassen anstehen2308? Sie sprachen559: Zeuch hinauf5927, der HErr136 wird‘s in die Hand3027 des Königs4428 geben5414.

6 Then the king4428 of Israel3478 gathered6908 the prophets5030 together, about four702 hundred3967 men,376 and said559 to them, Shall I go3212 against5921 Ramothgilead7433 to battle,4421 or shall I forbear?2308 And they said,559 Go5927 up; for the LORD136 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

7 Josaphat3092 aber sprach559: Ist hie kein Prophet5030 mehr5750 des HErrn3068, daß wir von ihm fragen1875?

7 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Is there not here6311 a prophet5030 of the LORD3068 besides,5750 that we might inquire1875 of him?

|
8 Der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559 zu Josaphat3092: Es ist noch ein259 Mann376, Micha4321, der Sohn1121 Jemlas3229, von dem man559 den HErrn3068 fragen1875 mag. Aber ich bin8130 ihm gram; denn er weissaget mir kein Gutes2896, sondern eitel Böses7451. Josaphat3092 sprach559: Der König4428 rede nicht also!

8 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 There is yet3588 one259 man,376 Micaiah4321 the son1121 of Imlah,3229 by whom we may inquire1875 of the LORD:3068 but I hate8130 him; for he does not prophesy5012 good2896 concerning5921 me, but evil.7451 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Let not the king4428 say559 so.3651

10 Der König4428 aber Israels3478 und3092 Josaphat, der König4428 Judas, saßen3427 ein376 jeglicher auf6440 seinem Stuhl3678, angezogen3847 mit Kleidern899, auf dem Platz1637 vor der Tür6607 am Tor8179 Samarias8111; und alle Propheten5030 weissagten5012 vor ihnen.

10 And the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 sat3427 each376 on5921 his throne,3678 having put3847 on their robes,899 in a void1637 place4725 in the entrance6607 of the gate8179 of Samaria;8111 and all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 before6440 them.

12 Und alle Propheten5030 weissagten5012 also und sprachen559: Zeuch hinauf5927 gen Ramoth in Gilead1568 und fahre glückselig; der HErr3068 wird‘s6743 in die Hand3027 des Königs4428 geben5414.

12 And all3605 the prophets5030 prophesied5012 so,3651 saying,559 Go5927 up to Ramothgilead,7433 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the king's4428 hand.3027
|
|
13 Und559 der259 Bote4397, der259 hingegangen war, Micha4321 zu rufen, sprach7121 zu ihm: Siehe, der Propheten5030 Reden1696 sind1980 einträchtiglich gut2896 für den König4428; so laß nun dein Wort1697 auch sein wie2896 das1697 Wort6310 derselben und rede1697 Gutes!

13 And the messenger4397 that was gone1980 to call7121 Micaiah4321 spoke1696 to him, saying,559 Behold2009 now,4994 the words1697 of the prophets5030 declare good2896 to the king4428 with one259 mouth:6310 let your word,1697 I pray4994 you, be like the word1697 of one259 of them, and speak1696 that which is good.2896

14 Micha4321 sprach559: So wahr der HErr3068 lebet, ich will reden1696, was der HErr3068 mir sagen559 wird.

14 And Micaiah4321 said,559 As the LORD3068 lives,2416 what3588 the LORD3068 said559 to me, that will I speak.1696

15 Und da er zum Könige4428 kam935, sprach559 der König4428 zu ihm: Micha4321, sollen wir gen Ramoth in Gilead1568 ziehen3212 zu streiten4421, oder sollen wir‘s lassen anstehen2308? Er sprach559 zu ihm: Ja, zeuch hinauf5927 und fahre glückselig; der HErr3068 wird‘s6743 in die Hand3027 des Königs4428 geben5414.

15 So he came935 to the king.4428 And the king4428 said559 to him, Micaiah,4321 shall we go3212 against413 Ramothgilead7433 to battle,4421 or shall we forbear?2308 And he answered559 him, Go,5927 and prosper:6743 for the LORD3068 shall deliver5414 it into the hand3027 of the king.4428

16 Der König4428 sprach559 abermal zu ihm: Ich beschwöre7650 dich, daß du1696 mir nicht anders sagest denn die Wahrheit571 im Namen8034 des HErrn3068.

16 And the king4428 said559 to him, How5704 many times6471 shall I adjure7650 you that you tell1696 me nothing3808 but that which is true571 in the name8034 of the LORD?3068

17 Er6327 sprach559: Ich sah7200 ganz Israel3478 zerstreuet auf den Bergen2022 wie die Schafe6629, die keinen Hirten7462 haben. Und der HErr3068 sprach559: Haben diese keinen Herrn113? Ein376 jeglicher kehre wieder7725 heim1004 mit Frieden7965!

17 And he said,559 I saw7200 all3605 Israel3478 scattered6327 on the hills,2022 as sheep6629 that have not a shepherd:7462 and the LORD3068 said,559 These428 have no3808 master:113 let them return7725 every man376 to his house1004 in peace.7965

18 Da sprach559 der König4428 Israels3478 zu Josaphat3092: Habe ich dir nicht gesagt559, daß er mir nichts Gutes2896 weissaget, sondern eitel Böses7451?
|
18 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 Did I not tell559 you that he would prophesy5012 no3808 good2896 concerning5921 me, but evil?7451
|
|
19 Er sprach559: Darum höre nun das Wort1697 des HErrn3068. Ich sah7200 den HErrn3068 sitzen3427 auf seinem Stuhl3678 und alles himmlische8064 Heer6635 neben ihm stehen5975 zu8085 seiner Rechten3225 und Linken8040.
|
19 And he said,559 Hear8085 you therefore3651 the word1697 of the LORD:3068 I saw7200 the LORD3068 sitting3427 on5921 his throne,3678 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven8064 standing5975 by him on his right3225 hand3225 and on his left.8040

20 Und559 der HErr3068 sprach559: Wer will5307 Ahab256 überreden6601, daß er hinaufziehe5927 und falle zu Ramoth in Gilead1568? Und einer sagte559 dies3541, der andere das3541.
|
20 And the LORD3068 said,559 Who4310 shall persuade6601 Ahab,256 that he may go5927 up and fall5307 at Ramothgilead?7433 And one said559 on this3541 manner,3541 and another2088 said559 on that manner.3541

|
21 Da ging3318 ein Geist7307 heraus und trat5975 vor6440 den HErrn und sprach559: Ich will ihn überreden6601. Der HErr3068 sprach zu ihm: Womit?
|
21 And there came3318 forth3318 a spirit,7307 and stood5975 before6440 the LORD,3068 and said,559 I will persuade6601 him.
|
|
22 Er sprach559: Ich3201 will ausgehen3318 und will ein falscher7307 Geist8267 sein in aller seiner Propheten5030 Munde6310. Er sprach559: Du559 sollst ihn3068 überreden6601 und sollst es ausrichten; gehe aus3318 und tue6213 also!
|
22 And the LORD3068 said559 to him, With4100 which? And he said,559 I will go3318 forth,3318 and I will be a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 his prophets.5030 And he said,559 You shall persuade6601 him, and prevail3201 also:1571 go3318 forth,3318 and do6213 so.3651

23 Nun siehe, der HErr3068 hat1696 einen falschen8267 Geist7307 gegeben5414 in aller dieser deiner Propheten5030 Mund6310; und der HErr3068 hat Böses7451 über dich geredet.
|
23 Now6258 therefore, behold,2009 the LORD3068 has put5414 a lying8267 spirit7307 in the mouth6310 of all3605 these428 your prophets,5030 and the LORD3068 has spoken1696 evil7451 concerning5921 you.

24 Da trat5066 herzu Zedekia6667, der Sohn1121 Knaenas3668, und schlug5221 Micha4321 auf den Backen3895 und sprach559: Wie335? Ist5674 der Geist7307 des HErrn3068 von mir gewichen, daß er mit dir redet1696?
|
24 But Zedekiah6667 the son1121 of Chenaanah3668 went5674 near,5066 and smote5221 Micaiah4321 on5921 the cheek,3895 and said,559 Which335 2088 way2088 went5674 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 from me to speak1696 to you?

25 Micha4321 sprach559: Siehe, du wirst‘s sehen an7200 dem Tage3117, wenn du von einer Kammer2315 in die andere gehen935 wirst, daß du dich2247 verkriechest.
|
25 And Micaiah4321 said,559 Behold,2009 you shall see7200 in that day,3117 when834 you shall go935 into an inner2315 chamber2315 to hide2247 yourself.
|
|
26 Der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559: Nimm3947 Micha4321 und5892 laß ihn bleiben7725 bei Amon526, dem Bürgermeister, und bei Joas3101, dem Sohn1121 des Königs4428,

26 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Take3947 Micaiah,4321 and carry7725 him back7725 to Amon526 the governor8269 of the city,5892 and to Joash3101 the king's4428 son;1121
|
|
27 und7760 sprich559: So spricht559 der König4428: Diesen setzet ein in den Kerker3608 und speiset ihn398 mit Brot3899 und Wasser4325 der Trübsal3906, bis935 ich mit Frieden7965 wiederkomme.
|
27 And say,559 Thus3541 said559 the king,4428 Put7760 this2088 fellow in the prison,1004 3608 and feed398 him with bread3899 of affliction3905 and with water4325 of affliction,3905 until5704 I come935 in peace.7965

|
28 Micha4321 sprach559: Kommst du7725 mit Frieden7965 wieder7725, so hat1696 der HErr3068 nicht durch mich geredet. Und sprach559: Höret zu8085, alles Volk5971!
|
28 And Micaiah4321 said,559 If518 you return7725 at all in peace,7965 the LORD3068 has not spoken1696 by me. And he said,559 Listen,8085 O people,5971 every3605 one of you.
|
|
29 Also zog5927 der König4428 Israels3478 und3092 Josaphat, der König4428 Judas, hinauf gen Ramoth in Gilead1568.
|
29 So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah3063 went5927 up to Ramothgilead.7433
|
|
30 Und3092 der König4428 Israels3478 sprach559 zu Josaphat: Verstelle dich und935 komm in den Streit4421 mit deinen Kleidern899 angetan. Der König4428 Israels3478 aber verstellete sich auch und935 zog3847 in den Streit4421.
|
30 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to Jehoshaphat,3092 I will disguise2664 myself, and enter935 into the battle;4421 but put3847 you on your robes.899 And the king4428 of Israel3478 disguised2664 himself, and went935 into the battle.4421
|
|
31 Aber der König4428 zu Syrien758 gebot6680 den Obersten8269 über seine8147 Wagen7393, der waren zweiunddreißig, und sprach559: Ihr sollt nicht streiten3898 wider Kleine6996 noch Große1419, sondern wider den König4428 Israels3478 allein.
|
31 But the king4428 of Syria758 commanded6680 his thirty7970 and two8147 captains8269 that had rule over his chariots,7393 saying,559 Fight3898 neither3808 with small6996 nor great,1419 save3588 518 only905 with the king4428 of Israel.3478
|
|
32 Und3092 da die Obersten8269 der Wagen7393 Josaphat sahen7200, meineten sie559, er5493 wäre der König4428 Israels3478, und3092 fielen auf ihn mit Streiten3898; aber Josaphat schrie2199.

32 And it came1961 to pass, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 saw7200 Jehoshaphat,3092 that they said,559 Surely389 it is the king4428 of Israel.3478 And they turned5493 aside to fight3898 against5921 him: and Jehoshaphat3092 cried2199 out.

|
33 Da310 aber die Obersten8269 der Wagen7393 sahen7200, daß er nicht der König4428 Israels3478 war, wandten sie sich7725 hinten von ihm.
|
33 And it came1961 to pass, when the captains8269 of the chariots7393 perceived7200 that it was not the king4428 of Israel,3478 that they turned7725 back7725 from pursuing310 him.
|
|
34 Ein Mann376 aber spannete den Bogen7198 ohngefähr und schoß den König4428 Israels3478 zwischen den Panzer1694 und Hengel. Und er5221 sprach559 zu seinem Fuhrmann7395: Wende2015 deine Hand3027 und führe3318 mich aus4900 dem Heer4264, denn ich bin wund2470.

34 And a certain man376 drew4900 a bow7198 at a venture,8537 and smote5221 the king4428 of Israel3478 between996 the joints1694 of the harness:8302 why he said559 to the driver7395 of his chariot,7395 Turn2015 your hand,3027 and carry3318 me out of the host;4264 for I am wounded.2470

35 Und5975 der Streit4421 nahm überhand desselben Tages3117; und der König4428 stund auf5927 dem Wagen4818 gegen5227 die Syrer758 und starb4191 des Abends6153. Und das Blut1818 floß3332 von den Wunden4347 mitten2436 in den Wagen7393.

35 And the battle4421 increased5927 that day:3117 and the king4428 was stayed5975 up in his chariot4818 against5227 the Syrians,758 and died4191 at even:6153 and the blood1818 ran3332 out of the wound4347 into413 the middle2436 of the chariot.7393
|
|
36 Und376 man559 ließ ausrufen7440 im Heer4264, da die Sonne8121 unterging, und sagen: Ein376 jeglicher gehe5674 in seine Stadt5892 und in sein935 Land776!
|
36 And there went5674 a proclamation7440 throughout the host4264 about the going935 down of the sun,8121 saying,559 Every man376 to his city,5892 and every man376 to his own country.776
|
|
37 Also starb4191 der König4428 und4428 ward gen Samaria8111 gebracht935. Und sie begruben6912 ihn zu Samaria8111.
|
37 So the king4428 died,4191 and was brought935 to Samaria;8111 and they buried6912 the king4428 in Samaria.8111
|
|
38 Und da sie den Wagen7393 wuschen7857 bei dem Teiche1295 Samarias8111, leckten3952 die Hunde3611 sein Blut1818 (es wuschen7364 ihn aber die Huren2185) nach dem Wort1697 des HErrn3068, das er geredet hatte1696.
|
38 And one washed7857 the chariot7393 in the pool1295 of Samaria;8111 and the dogs3611 licked3952 up his blood;1818 and they washed7364 his armor;2185 according to the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 he spoke.1696
|
|
39 Was mehr von Ahab256 zu sagen ist3789, und3499 alles, was er1129 getan6213 hat, und das1697 elfenbeinerne8127 Haus1004, das er bauete, und alle3117 Städte5892, die er gebauet hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik5612 der Könige4428 Israels3478.

41 And Jehoshaphat3092 the son1121 of Asa609 began to reign4427 over5921 Judah3063 in the fourth702 year8141 of Ahab256 king4428 of Israel.3478

|
42 Und3092 war fünfunddreißig7970 Jahre8141 alt1121, da er König4427 ward4427, und regierte fünfundzwanzig2568 Jahre8141 zu Jerusalem3389. Seine Mutter517 hieß8034 Asuba5806, eine Tochter1323 Silhis7977.

43 Und6213 wandelte in allem Wege1870 seines Vaters1 Assa und2076 wich nicht davon3212; und er5493 tat5493, das dem5869 HErrn3068 wohlgefiel.

43 And he walked3212 in all3605 the ways1870 of Asa609 his father;1 he turned5493 not aside from it, doing6213 that which was right3477 in the eyes5869 of the LORD:3068 nevertheless389 the high1116 places were not taken5493 away;5493 for the people5971 offered2076 and burnt6999 incense6999 yet3588 in the high1116 places.

44 Doch tat er4428 die Höhen nicht7999 weg, und3092 das Volk opferte und3478 räucherte noch auf den Höhen.

44 And Jehoshaphat3092 made peace7999 with the king4428 of Israel.3478
|
|
45 Und3499 hatte1697 Frieden mit dem Könige4428 Israels.

46 Was aber mehr von Josaphat zu sagen ist7604, und3499 die Macht, was er1 getan, und3117 wie er gestritten hat1197, siehe, das776 ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Judas.

47 Auch tat er4428 aus dem Lande, was noch übriger Hurer waren, die zu der Zeit seines Vaters Assa waren überblieben.

48 Jehoshaphat3092 made6238 ships591 of Tharshish8659 to go3212 to Ophir211 for gold:2091 but they went1980 not; for the ships591 were broken7665 at Eziongeber.6100

49 Und1121 Josaphat3092 hatte Schiffe591 lassen machen aufs Meer, die in Ophir gehen3212 sollten, Gold zu holen. Aber sie559 gingen nicht14; denn sie wurden zerbrochen zu Ezeon-Geber.

49 Then227 said559 Ahaziah274 the son1121 of Ahab256 to Jehoshaphat,3092 Let my servants5650 go3212 with your servants5650 in the ships.591 But Jehoshaphat3092 would14 not.

|

53 Und tat, das dem HErrn3068 übel gefiel, und wandelte in dem Wege seines Vaters und seiner Mutter und in dem Wege Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel3478 sündigen machte6213.

53 For he served5647 Baal,1168 and worshipped7812 him, and provoked to anger3707 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 according to all3605 that his father1 had done.6213

|
54 Und dienete Baal1168 und betete7812 ihn3707 an; und erzürnete den HErrn, den GOtt430 Israels, wie sein5647 Vater1 tat.
